《MIX&MATCH》是韩国YG公司继《WIN: WHO IS NEXT》之后再次选拔新男团成员的节目。在此节目中WIN Bteam的所有6名成员和通过选拔出来的其他三个练习生共9名成员，通过选拔将会选出7名成员淘汰2名成员而作为新男子组合ikon展开竞争。杨社长并指出组合名原来是iCon，认为他们有肩负K POP未来的责任，因此最终决定为iKon。除去观众熟悉的WIN Bteam6名成员金振焕、宋尹亨、金知元、金韩彬、金东赫、具俊会外还有3名练习生怀着同样梦想却不得不通过激烈竞争才有机会作为新男团成员出道的成长故事。 　　2014年9月2日，YG娱乐公司社长杨贤硕出席制作发布会，并亲自向媒体说明的企划和进行方式。比赛70%由观众投票，30%由YG公司的包括杨社长在内等的前辈投票。
